AI helps us write faster, argue better and polish our ideas. But what happens when millions of us ask the same models how to improve?

Make it clearer. Remove the odd bits. Think about your audience. Follow what works.

Useful advice. Yet our voices may slowly start sounding alike.

Imagine AI advising Van Gogh to paint what sells. Or telling Kafka to make his stories easier to follow and give them happier endings.

“Your approach isn’t working. Try a different strategy.”

Perhaps they would have found success sooner. But would we have the works we remember them for?

We ask AI to fix our mistakes. Sometimes, though, we can’t yet tell a mistake from something original.

So occasionally, the best reply might be:

“Thanks. But I’m keeping that strange bit.”
